CAMBOARD / YOUR ACCOUNT & YOUR DATA
Privacy Notice
Effective: 14 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-14
How we handle your information, support your workspace, and respond to your requests.
1. Who operates CamBoard
CamBoard is operated by Cambiante Technologies Pvt Ltd, at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. This notice explains how we handle information when you visit cam-board.com, create an account, use a workspace at app.cam-board.com, or contact our team. Contact contact-us@cam-board.com about privacy or data requests.
For account administration, security, and support, we decide how the information is used. For project content submitted by a team, we provide the service for that workspace and act on the workspace administrator's authorized instructions, subject to applicable law. If your organization needs a separate data-processing agreement, contact us before uploading the relevant information.
2. Information we collect
Account information includes your name, email address, account identifier, verification status, and the policy versions acknowledged when you register. Amazon Cognito manages authentication and password credentials. You may register with a personal or work email address.
Workspace information includes workspace and project names, memberships, roles, invitations, optional company-domain verification records, and administration settings. Workspace content includes issues, descriptions, comments, mentions, attachments, activity history, worklogs, and notification preferences that you or your teammates provide.
Technical information includes request and error records, timestamps, service and resource identifiers, and connection information such as IP addresses and browser details where collected by our hosting services. Email delivery records include recipient addresses, message identifiers, delivery status, and bounce or complaint events. Support correspondence contains the information you choose to send us. Please do not email passwords or verification codes.
3. Why we use information
We use this information to create and verify accounts; authenticate users; provide projects and collaboration tools; enforce workspace permissions; send invitations, verification and recovery messages, and enabled work notifications; respond to support and privacy requests; investigate failures and misuse; and maintain and improve the service.
We use information only as permitted by applicable law, including to provide the service you request, meet legal obligations, protect the service and its users, and obtain consent where it is required. This notice is not consent to unrelated marketing. You can change optional work-email notification preferences in CamBoard; essential account and security messages remain necessary to operate your account.
4. Who can access information
Workspace administrators and members can access information according to their roles and project permissions. An administrator can manage membership, invitations, and access. If you use CamBoard for an organization, consult its own policies before adding content. The same email domain does not automatically grant access to a workspace.
When an administrator verifies an optional company domain, they can restrict creation of additional workspaces by existing active members using that exact verified work-email domain. This does not claim every account on that domain or grant access to unrelated workspaces.
Authorized service personnel and providers access information as needed for hosting, authentication, email delivery, support, security, and service operation. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or safety, or as part of an organizational transaction with appropriate confidentiality and applicable legal protections.
5. Service providers and processing locations
CamBoard uses Amazon Web Services for application hosting, databases, private file storage, authentication, logging, and monitoring. Account and work emails pass through Cambiante's mail gateway and Amazon Simple Email Service. Microsoft 365 supports our contact mailbox and support correspondence.
The primary application infrastructure is in AWS's Mumbai region. CloudFront serves website and application assets through a global network; email delivery and support providers may process information in other locations. We do not promise that every copy of information stays in one country. Contact us before onboarding if your organization has residency, transfer, or contractual requirements.
6. Browser storage and the public website
The application uses browser session storage to keep authentication state, the selected workspace, pending invitation details, and the email address awaiting verification. This storage supports requested functionality and normally lasts for the browser tab's session. Signing out ends the application session. Do not share a signed-in browser session with other people.
The public website does not currently embed advertising trackers or third-party visitor analytics. Infrastructure may still process technical requests and security information. If we introduce optional tracking, we will update this notice and provide choices where required.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain account and workspace information while needed to provide the service, administer the workspace, resolve requests or disputes, and meet applicable obligations. Workspace content can remain relevant to other members after someone leaves. Removing membership does not automatically erase their past comments or worklogs.
Deleted issues enter a 30-day trash period before scheduled removal from the active application. CamBoard application logs are configured for 14-day retention. The delivery monitor keeps message identifiers and status records for approximately 14 days; automatic expiry is not instantaneous. Provider records, support messages, backups, and legally required records may have different retention periods.
Account and whole-workspace deletion requests are currently handled through contact-us@cam-board.com, rather than a self-service deletion button. We verify identity and authority, discuss the effect on shared work and any records that must be retained, and explain how the request can be fulfilled. Deletion from the active service may not immediately remove backup or provider copies. Available issue and timesheet CSV exports are not a complete export of every category of account data.
8. Your requests and choices
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain information, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or raise a grievance. Contact contact-us@cam-board.com with your account email and a description of your request. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity, but never your password or a login code.
For information controlled by your workspace, contacting its administrator first may help. You can also contact us directly, and we will explain the appropriate process. We respond within applicable legal time limits. Nothing in this notice limits rights you have under applicable law, including contacting a competent supervisory authority where available.
9. Security, age, and changes
We use authenticated access, workspace permissions, private file storage, and operational controls to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. CamBoard is intended for adults working on projects and is not directed to children under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
We will update this page when our practices change and show the new effective date. Where a change requires notice or consent, we will provide it through an appropriate channel. You can contact contact-us@cam-board.com at any time with questions about this notice.
